Background

I am proud to be one of the founding directors of CRA Consulting when it formed back in 2006.  

Since then, we have built a fantastic recruitment business on strong foundations with the highest standards.  These are the qualities that have enabled us to continue to grow into the national recruitment specialist we are today.  They are also the qualities our clients have come to count on as we help them build their businesses and their careers alongside ours.

As a specialist legal recruiter, my job is to help lawyers make the best next career move.  Although I work with lawyers at every stage of their careers, I have a particular focus on private practice candidates from 5 years PQE up to equity partner and director level appointments.

I also manage our relationships with the national law firms we work with.  I love getting know every client inside and out because it is this insight that allows us to spot the right opportunities for the right candidates whether the position they want to fill has come from necessity, growth or strategy.

Working this closely with law firms has also given me the opportunity to watch the legal sector develop over the last 20 years as it is forced to adapt to new challenges and an increasingly competitive trading environment.  I’ve enjoyed seeing our clients’ businesses grow, some from new start-ups all the way through to nationally renowned ABS structures.

Outside of work

I can’t bear sitting still so outside of work I like anything that keeps me busy!  This includes skiing, football, traveling the world (as long as it’s hot), meeting up with friends over a pint of Guinness and – just so the stress levels don’t drop – a little bit of property development.
