Accounts and Audit Senior Senior Sheffield £28,000 to £32,000 plus benefits
My client is a leading accountancy practice with a strong presence across Yorkshire and Derbyshire. The organisation continues to grow and is looking for bright, ambitous individuals to join the team. It is likely you will already have a proven track record of working in accountancy practice and be looking to join a forward thinking dynamic practice. Working with a varied client base key responsbilities will include:
- Preparation of company financial statements for a range of clients including sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
- Production of management accounts for clients and dealing with ad hoc project work
- Assisting on audits as and when required
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
The Person
- Ideally, you will have a proven track record of working in an accontancy practice for 3 years and be either qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience . Audit experience is not essential and accounts production is the main focus of this role with some audit exposure
- Experience of Sage 50,Xero, Quikcbooks,Iris, Sage busienss Cloud is an advantage
- You will be a great communicator with the ability to work with individuals across the organisation
- You will have strong technical skills and ability to deliver exceptional work in an enironment where there are opportunities to progress
