Salary: £35,000 - £58,000, dependent on experience

Job Description:

As a Clinical Negligence Lawyer, you will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of clinical negligence claims. This role demands a high degree of professionalism, exceptional legal expertise, and excellent client care skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a diverse caseload of clinical negligence claims from instruction through to conclusion.
  2. Maintain close communication with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring a high level of client care.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with medical professionals and experts.
  4. Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents and provide legal advice pertaining to clinical negligence cases.
  5. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations or negotiations as necessary.
  6. Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
  7. Keep up-to-date with changes in law and practice in the clinical negligence field.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Solicitor or legal executive with significant experience in clinical negligence claims.
  2. Excellent knowledge of medical law and the clinical negligence legal process.
  3. Proven track record of successfully representing clients in clinical negligence cases.
  4. Exceptional communication and client care skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  6. Ability to manage a large and diverse caseload with a high degree of independence.
  7. Proficient in the use of legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
