Our client, a leading national law firm, are looking to recruit a Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join them in their Birmingham office. This is a permanent, full time vacancy. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading firms which has been recognised by many legal directories, including the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.

The Role:

In this role you will advise clients of the firm on a wide range of clinical negligence cases, from inception to conclusion.

The Person:

Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous experience of running your own clinical negligence cases and a good level of understanding what is involved when handling multi-track cases and the costs and litigation involved;
  • Ideally at least 2 years PQE;
  • Experience as a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister;
  • Excellent client care skills and the ability to empathise with clients;
  • Experience of litigating cases successfully;
  • The ability to work independently and also work successfully as a team;
  • The drive and confidence to attend business development and marketing events on behalf of the firm;
  • Excellent communication skills, including excellent advocacy and drafting skills;
  • The ability to prioritise and work to deadlines;
  • Good file management skills and experience of using most Microsoft Office packages and electronic case management systems; and
  • The ability to work in a busy and often time sensitive working environment.
