Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Residential Conveyancer to join a dynamic team for a firm in Leeds. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters and will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice to a range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Managing a diverse caseload of freehold and leasehold transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
  2. Drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting searches, and advising clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
  3. Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors to progress transactions to a timely conclusion.
  4. Identifying and managing potential risks and issues, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  5. Providing exceptional client service, building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in residential conveyancing.
  2. Excellent knowledge of conveyancing procedures and processes.
  3. Strong client management skills with a focus on delivery of excellent client service.
  4. Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise workload effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  5. Excellent communication and team working skills.
