Job Title: Corporate Solicitor
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 per annum plus a fee-related bonus and an additional bonus for business introduced.

As the business continues to expand, we are now seeking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Corporate Solicitor to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:

As a Corporate Solicitor, you will work closely with the team to provide expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our firm's corporate department, managing a diverse caseload and establishing strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert and commercial advice to a diverse portfolio of clients on a range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, corporate finance, and restructuring.

2. Manage relationships with clients to ensure a high standard of client service is maintained.

3. Work closely with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and seamless legal service is provided to our clients.

4. Assist in business development activities, cultivating strong relationships with potential clients and introducing new business to the firm.

5. Stay up-to-date with changes in corporate law to ensure our advice remains accurate and relevant.

6. Contribute to the growth and success of the firm by demonstrating flexibility, team spirit, and a dedication to quality.

Qualifications:

1. Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in corporate law.

2. Excellent knowledge of corporate law and commercial matters.

3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

5. The ability to work as part of a team and independently.

6. Proven track record in business development and a desire to contribute to the growth of the firm.
