Join the Fight Against Child Abuse: National Digital Communications Officer Wanted in Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Are you passionate about digital communications and want to make a real difference in the world? The Hydrant Programme, working in conjunction with the NPCC child protection and abuse investigation (CPAI) portfolio and acting as the national lead for the CSE Task Force, is looking for an innovative and committed individual to join their team. CRA Consulting are working in partnership with the Hydrant programme to assist in this recruitment. 

About the organisation:
They’re based in Sheffield and dedicated to supporting national police responses to child abuse, exploitation, and vulnerability. As a growing team, they value creativity, determination, and a drive to set high standards in our communications.

The Role:
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a National Digital Communications Officer. Working closely with the Head of Communications and the Hydrant Programme Communications Lead, you will:

  • Develop a digital strategy to expand our reach and engagement
  • Implement innovative channels that have a lasting internal and external impact
  • Champion digital content, and bring fresh, bold ideas to the forefront

Who We’re Looking For:
A passionate individual with:

  • Recent experience in a digital communications environment
  • A degree in a relevant field, or experience with Adobe Master Collection
  • Expertise in social media networks and tools, writing and editing skills
  • Strong analytical abilities, independence, and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of accessibility legislation and Media Law (desirable)
