Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 per annum

Job Description

The firm are seeking an ambitious and meticulous EL/PL Fee Earner to manage a caseload of employer liability and public liability claims. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in EL/PL claims and possess an exceptional work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage a varied caseload of EL/PL matters from inception through to settlement.
2. Maintain excellent client care throughout the process, ensuring that all client communications are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
3. Evaluate the liability and quantum of each claim, negotiate settlements where appropriate, or progress claims to litigation.
4. Maintain an understanding and comply with all relevant regulations and protocols.
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues and engage in business development activities.
6. Utilize and maintain our case management system accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Proven experience as an EL/PL Fee Earner, with a track record of successfully handling and settling claims.
2. Excellent knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules, Pre-Action Protocols, and relevant case law.
3. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
4. Proficient in case management systems.
5. Able to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently when required
