Thier offices span across the region, and they are currently looking to expand the team in Nottingham. They are seeking an ambitious, passionate Employment Lawyer to provide top-notch legal services to the clientele, while helping them grow and shape the future of the company.

Role Summary:

As an Employment Lawyer, you will represent clients in a broad range of employment matters. You will be responsible for providing legal advice, handling and managing employment cases, and providing support on contentious and non-contentious matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing legal advice to clients on a variety of employment matters including contracts, redundancies, disciplinaries, grievances, TUPE, and employment tribunal claims.
  2. Representing clients in employment tribunals and court proceedings.
  3. Drafting, reviewing, and amending a range of employment-related documents.
  4. Keeping clients informed of case developments and advising on strategy and risk.
  5. Liaising and negotiating with opponents and third parties to achieve the best possible outcome for clients.
  6. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  7. Contributing to the firm's business development and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in employment law.
  2. A strong academic background with a thorough understanding of employment law.
  3. Proven experience in managing your own caseload.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  5. Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  6. A client-focused approach, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple client relationships.
  7. Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
