Our client, a leading national law firm, are looking to recruit an Experienced Employment lawyer/Team Supervisor to join them in their Cardiff office and drive forward their Employment Rights Team. This is a permanent, full time vacancy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Employment Law professional to join one of the UK's leading teams which has been recognised by many legal directories, including the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.

It will be of particular interest to those wanting to take on a more managerial and supervisory role within an Employment Law department.

The Role:

In this role you will lead and supervise your team in an effective way, supervising and monitoring the employment law advice that is delivered to clients of the firm. You will ensure that your team deliver the best levels of client care possible and also ensure that the team are following the best standards of practice when using the case management system. You will also develop an effective marketing strategy for the department and take the lead with business development initiatives too. You will aim to drive your team forward in order that you contribute to the overall operational and financial success of the whole firm.

The Person:

Ideally, you will have:

  • Significant post qualification experience working in an Employment Law department either as a qualified Legal Executive or Solicitor and be operating as a Court Grade A;
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills;
  • An enthusiasm to train and mentor others;
  • Excellent client care skills;
  • A very sound technical knowledge and practical experience in this area of law; and
  • The ability and willingness to represent the firm at marketing events and in front of clients.
