The Role

A growing law firm is seeking a seasoned and highly capable Employment Rights Lawyer to join their team of committed professionals in the Birmingham office. You will manage a diverse caseload of both litigated and non-litigated employment rights matters, including unfair dismissal, wage disputes, and settlement agreement claims, in addition to more complex cases involving discrimination and TUPE.

As a skilled lawyer with a keen interest in combining your technical expertise with exceptional communication and client care abilities, you will focus on delivering a premier service to clients. Your confidence and aptitude for making appropriate daily case decisions will be crucial to your success in this role. To support your growth, the firm will offer structured supervision, coaching, and training in a nurturing environment that encourages career development.

This opportunity is ideal for an Employment Rights lawyer with at least 2 years of experience handling and overseeing employment rights cases. As an employment lawyer or legal executive, you will assess and advise on the prospects and value of Employment Tribunal claims received through our dedicated Employment Advice Line. Consequently, you must possess an in-depth understanding of Employment Tribunal procedures and the litigation process. Strong prioritization and time management skills, as well as meticulous attention to detail, will enable you to craft persuasive arguments that yield optimal outcomes for the clients. Demonstrating empathy and understanding, you will deliver a professional legal service with a personal touch.

As a team player, you will also actively participate in marketing and business development efforts.
