Job Title: Head of New Build Plot Sales Conveyancer
Location: Sheffield Salary: £35,000 - £48,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Our Client: A well-established and highly respected law firm in Sheffield is seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of New Build Plot Sales Conveyancer to join their thriving property department. With a strong presence in the market, the firm has built a reputation for delivering outstanding service to their clients.

The Role: As the Head of New Build Plot Sales Conveyancer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the firm's new build plot sales conveyancing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services to clients, and contributing to the growth and development of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise the new build plot sales conveyancing team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained.
2. Handle a varied caseload of new build plot sales transactions from inception to completion, including dealing with complex and high-value matters.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, estate agents, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient service is provided to clients.
4. Monitor and manage team performance, implementing improvement plans and strategies as required to ensure targets and objectives are met.
5. Collaborate with other department heads and senior management to identify opportunities for business development, contributing to the overall growth of the firm.
6. Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation, industry trends, and best practices within the conveyancing sector, implementing changes to processes and procedures as necessary.
7. Provide training and development opportunities for team members, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements:

1. A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years' experience in residential conveyancing, specifically in new build plot sales.
2. Proven experience in managing and supervising a team, with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong technical knowledge in all aspects of new build plot sales conveyancing, including complex and high-value transactions.
4. Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
5. A results-driven individual with a strong commercial acumen and a keen interest in business development.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail.
7. A team player with a positive and proactive approach to work.
