Our client, a highly successful multi-national company, are looking to recruit a junior lawyer to join their in-house team. This is a full time, permanent role with hybrid/flexible working available together with a competitive salary. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified solicitor who is looking to take a step and move in-house or an in-house lawyer who is looking to progress into another in-house team.

The Role:

In this role you will advise stakeholders on a variety of company/commercial and business law matters. These can be wide ranging and could include advising on issues such as data protection, competition/bribery/corruption matters and exports and international sanctions. You will assist other members of the team in reviewing legal documentation and will be responsible for drafting and preparing a wide range of legal paperwork on behalf of the company. You will also assist in training the company on matters relating to legal risk and compliance and will be responsible for ensuring that all internal risk and compliance matters are up to date and followed.

Person Specification:

You will ideally:

* Be approximately an NQ-3 year PQE Solicitor (although experience outside of this bracket will still be considered);
* Have some experience advising on legal matters such as commercial contracts, IT/IP and data protection/privacy. This is, however, not essential as training can be provided;
* Have some previous in-house experience, although again this is not essential;
* Be a self-motivated individual and able to work independently when required;
* Have excellent attention to detail and communication skills;
* Be confident to work to often tight deadlines and be able to work under pressure;
* Be confident to work alongside a variety of stakeholders and advise them accordingly, with a commercial and pragmatic approach;
* Be highly professional in approach, showing the utmost integrity at all times.

Some national and international travel may sometimes be required by the successful candidate. Language skills would be desirable, but is not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly successful in-house team and gain exposure to a wide range of interesting and complex legal matters.
