Job Title: Compliance Executive for Leading Solicitors Firm (Remote, Future Hybrid)
Salary Range: £28,000 to £32,000

As an award-winning organization celebrated for its ethical practices and innovative approach, this role presents a unique opportunity to engage with a multifaceted and prestigious clientele.
In this essential capacity, you will champion business compliance, delivering expertise in varied areas of legal and regulatory adherence, with a concentrated emphasis on the guidelines and codes of conduct determined by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
- Provide expert compliance guidance, chiefly regarding SRA codes of conduct, operational governance, conveyancing regulations, data protection, complaint management, anti-money laundering initiatives, professional indemnity insurance, and negligence claims.
- Develop and reassess policies and procedures relevant to the business’s conveyancing and other legal sectors.
- Offer counsel on data protection issues relevant to conveyancing and the broader business.
- Conduct meticulous audits and file assessments.
- Manage the renewal process for all professional accreditations and policy renewals.
- Serve as the main liaison for regulatory breach investigations, ensuring they are reported as needed.
- Address internal concerns or complaints in a swift and professional manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Have some previous compliance experience, ideally in the service sector and or legal sector, with a background in advising on SRA regulatory standards, especially in conveyancing.
- Proven track record in a legal operations, regulatory, and/or compliance position.
- Profound knowledge of data protection guidelines and processes related to conveyancing.
- Capable of leading others and cultivating strong team dynamics.
- Exceptional communication capabilities.
- A demeanor marked by confidence and professionalism.
