An opportunity has a arisen working in the finance department for an experienced legal costs providing a specialist support to the teams providing services with legal aid.
Key areas of responsibility:
* Managing and setting up processes for regular billing
* Work effectively on the Client and Cost Management System, Legal Aid Agency Online and E forms to produce bills and facilitate support to fee earners also on these systems
* Ensure bills are submitted and have been received by the relevant authority, files are satisfactorily finished, disbursement paid, and files closed.
* Work with the finance team to produce various reports and MI relating to costs.
* Payment allocation
Ideally you will have a proven track record in legal costs and be looking to join a dynamic fast-moving firm in Sheffield city centre. Applications are welcomed from individuals with a background in legal finance or accounts who have a real desire to specialise in legal costs.
