Job Title: Legal Secretary – Childcare Files

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £20,000 – £23,000 per annum

CRA Consulting, a leading legal recruitment agency, is currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join a dynamic legal team in Rotherham. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience, although this requirement is negotiable for exceptional candidates. The role involves working directly with partners on childcare files, providing vital support to ensure the smooth operation of legal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage and organise legal documents related to childcare files.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to partners within the firm.
  • Coordinate communication and correspondence on behalf of the legal team.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of legal documents, such as briefs, contracts, and court forms.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and court appearances.
  • Audio typing.
  • Undertake general office tasks to contribute to the overall efficiency of the legal practice.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Legal Secretary.
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £20,000 – £23,000 per annum.
  • Generous holiday entitlement: 30 days for fee earners/managers and 23 days for support staff (increasing by 1 day each year up to 28 days).
