Salary : £45,000 -£65,000
A great opportunity to join an established and successful Sheffield based firm who truly put their employees at the heart of everything they do. With a lovely office setting in the Sheffield suburbs and free parking available our client is looking for an experienced private client solicitor/STEP qualified proffesinal to join the team and continue to drive the department forward.
The role
You will meet with clients of the firm and advise them on a wide variety of private client matters including wills, probate, trusts and estates administration, tax and trusts and powers of attorney. You will work as part of a team and manage your own caseload of files from start to finish.
Ideally you will be;
* A Solicitor or Legal Executive who has considerable experience in this field of law. Being STEP qualified would also be of considerable interest;
* Technically competent in advising a range of clients on sometimes complex private client matters;
* A person that displays excellent client care skills, who acts with professionalism at all times and understands the importance of client care;
* Confident using a range of IT packages including legal databases;
* Willing to meet with third party intermediaries in order to progress your clients cases;
* A highly organised candidate who is able to work to deadlines and timeframes; and
* Very competent at legal research and keep up to date at all times with all relevant legislation and case-law and be able to apply these when relevant.
