About the business:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a niche and professional Law Firm for a Commercial Property department assistant to join their support team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team, with offices based in a suburban location with access to a staff car park.

This role is part of a well-established team, with a good work cultural and strong working relationships.

If successful, you will perform the following role as a Commercial Property Assistant:

The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience working in a Commercial Property Department. However, we will consider applicants with transferrable experience in Residential Property. The applicant must have excellent client management and administration skills.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Digital Dictation/Audio Typing
* Taking instructions and opening new files
* Conducting initial client checks such as ID checks, credit checks and proof of affordability checks
* Overseeing both commercial and residential transactions
* Conducting property searches
* Liaising with mortgage provider/brokers
* Organising and managing legal documentation
* Handling administrative support duties and managing filing
* Both Pre and Post completion matters including Stamp Duty and Land Registry formalities.
