Job Description:
A leading and reputable firm of solicitors in Sheffield, is seeking an experienced and dedicated RTA (Road Traffic Accident) Paralegal to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Assisting solicitors in managing a caseload of RTA claims from inception to conclusion.
- Conducting initial client interviews, gathering relevant information, and drafting legal documents.
- Liaising with clients, insurance companies, medical professionals, and other relevant parties to gather evidence and information.
- Conducting legal research and preparing briefs for solicitors.
- Drafting letters, correspondence, and court documents.
- Assisting with the preparation of court bundles and attending court hearings when required.
- Managing deadlines, ensuring all necessary documentation is filed accurately and on time.
- Providing administrative support to the RTA department and maintaining organized case files.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry developments related to RTA claims.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an RTA Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.
- Sound knowledge of RTA claims procedures, including the MOJ Portal.
- Familiarity with legal case management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility regarding working hours, with full-time or part-time options available.
- A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding professional standards.
