Job Title: Asbestos Lawyer
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom
Salary range: £51,000 – £58,000 per annum, plus bonus

The team of dedicated professionals is committed to representing clients who have been affected by asbestos exposure, ensuring they receive the compensation they deserve. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Asbestos Lawyer to join the Manchester office.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients affected by asbestos-related diseases.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients to understand their concerns and needs.
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage a diverse caseload of asbestos-related claims, including mesothelioma, asbestosis, and lung cancer cases.
- Conduct thorough investigations and gather necessary evidence to support clients’ claims.
- Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs, in a timely and accurate manner.
Negotiation and Litigation:
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations to resolve disputes and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Prepare and present cases for trial, advocating zealously on behalf of clients.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in asbestos-related laws and regulations to ensure clients receive the best possible representation.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including paralegals, legal assistants, and other lawyers, to ensure efficient case management.
- Participate in internal meetings and contribute to the firm’s ongoing development and growth.
- Mentor and train junior lawyers and support staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in asbestos-related cases.
- Participate in marketing and networking events to raise the firm’s profile and attract new clients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies targeting asbestos-related cases.
- Maintain relationships with medical professionals, trade unions, and other referral sources to grow the firm’s client base.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified solicitor or barrister in the United Kingdom, with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in handling asbestos-related claims, including mesothelioma, asbestosis, and lung cancer cases.
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, with a proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and build lasting relationships.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to staying current with developments in asbestos-related laws and regulations.
