Job Title: Senior Associate Family Solicitor
Location: Barnsley, England
Salary range: £44,000 to £64,000 per annum, commensurate with experience

The Opportunity:

We are now seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Associate Family Solicitor to join this team. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to take on a challenging and fulfilling position within a supportive and friendly team environment. With the current partner approaching retirement, there are excellent prospects for partnership for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice in all aspects of Family Law, including divorce, child custody, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, prenuptial agreements, and domestic violence cases.
  • Manage a substantial and varied caseload independently, while maintaining the high service standards our clients expect.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing empathetic, practical and proactive advice.
  • Participate in business development initiatives to expand the firm’s client base.
  • Assist and mentor more junior members of the team as needed.
  • Actively contribute to the overall growth and success of the firm.

Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in Family Law, preferably gained within a reputable law firm.
  • Demonstrable experience in handling complex Family Law cases.
  • Adept at managing a significant caseload independently, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to relate to clients from a variety of backgrounds.
  • A strong business development mindset.
  • High level of professional integrity and a commitment to uphold the firm’s values and reputation.
