Job Title: Senior Multi-Track PI Lawyer
Location: Leeds, UK
Salary: £52,000 - £58,000 basic + performance bonus
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (combination of office and remote work)

The team of dedicated professionals is committed to providing exceptional service and achieving outstanding results. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Multi-Track PI Lawyer to join the growing Personal Injury department.
Job Purpose:
The Senior Multi-Track PI Lawyer will be responsible for managing a caseload of high-value and complex multi-track personal injury claims, providing expert legal advice and representation to clients, and contributing to the ongoing development and success of the Personal Injury department.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload of multi-track personal injury claims, including but not limited to road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, public liability claims, and catastrophic injury cases.

Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients, ensuring that their best interests are protected and that the most favorable outcomes are achieved.

Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of liability, causation, and quantum in relation to each case, ensuring that all relevant evidence is gathered and considered.

Liaise with clients, insurers, experts, and opposing parties in a professional and effective manner, maintaining open lines of communication and building strong relationships.

Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, schedules of loss, and other court-related documents, ensuring that they are accurate, comprehensive, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, aiming to achieve the best possible outcome in each case, and representing clients at court hearings, conferences, and mediations when necessary.

Supervise and mentor junior members of the Personal Injury team, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.

Participate in business development initiatives to promote the firm's services and generate new client leads.

Keep up-to-date with developments in personal injury law and regulations, attending relevant training courses and events to ensure the provision of accurate and current legal advice.

Adhere to the firm's policies and procedures, including compliance with SRA regulations, money laundering, and data protection requirements.
Key Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years PQE in multi-track personal injury claims.

Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload of complex and high-value personal injury cases.

Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, with experience in representing clients at court hearings, conferences, and mediations.

Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external parties.

A commitment to ongoing professional development, including staying up-to-date with changes in personal injury law and regulations.

The ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

A proactive and results-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
