Job Description: Serious Injury Lawyer for a Claimant Focused UK Law Firm
Location: Nottingham, UK
Salary: £40,000 to £46,000 per annum plus a car allowance

We are recruiting for a reputable UK law firm that specializes in personal injury claims for claimants. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Serious Injury Lawyer to join their team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully handling complex and high-value claims, as well as a strong passion for helping clients who have suffered serious injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of serious injury claims, including catastrophic injuries such as brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and burns.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and appeals.
• Work closely with clients, medical experts, and other professionals to gather evidence and build a strong case for each client.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and other parties, and litigate cases in court as needed.
• Provide clients with regular updates on the progress of their cases and answer any questions they may have.
• Manage your own workload effectively and efficiently, ensuring that deadlines are met and clients are kept informed throughout the process.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A qualified solicitor with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in serious injury claims.
• Strong knowledge of UK personal injury law and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and build strong relationships.
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills, with a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with other members of the team, as well as independently.
• Valid UK driver's license and access to a vehicle for business use.
