About the business/Role:
CRA Legal are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, regional law firm with a national presence. The firm boast an excellent standard of work, a strong client base and ambitious growth plans. The successful candidate will be joining a well-networked, highly-regarded and expert team of private client professionals who drive a great work culture.
We are currently seeking an experienced Private Client Will Writer/Fee Earner to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting wills and trusts, providing estate planning advice, dealing with court of protection matters and handling probate matters for clients.
Responsibilities:
* Drafting wills and trusts, taking into account the client's personal circumstances and wishes
* Managing your own caseload
* Providing estate planning advice, including tax planning and inheritance issues
* Advising on and drafting lasting powers of attorney
* Managing and administering trusts
* Handling probate matters, including the preparation of inheritance tax returns and estate accounts
* Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties as required
About you:
* At least 2 years' experience as a Private Client Will Writer/Fee Earner
* A good understanding of wills, trusts, estate planning, and probate matters
* Excellent drafting and communication skills
* The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* A strong client focus and the ability to build and maintain relationships
