Job Title: Wills and Probate Locum Solicitor

Are you a skilled and experienced Wills and Probate Solicitor seeking a flexible part-time opportunity? We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to join a reputable law firm located on the outskirts of Sheffield. This is a temporary position for a duration of 3 weeks, with 2 days of work per week.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of wills and probate matters, including drafting wills, administering estates, and providing expert legal advice to clients.
- Conduct legal research and keep up-to-date with relevant legislation and case law in the field of wills and probate.
- Liaise with clients and provide exceptional customer service, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including probate applications, trust deeds, and powers of attorney.
- Attend meetings, hearings, and consultations as required.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with a strong background in wills and probate law.
- Demonstrable experience handling a range of wills and probate matters independently.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, procedures, and case law.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
