Salary: up to £43,000 – £55,000

Our client is a leading regional law firm with an excellent presence in the local market. Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen with the Wills & Probate department to join the Inheritance tracing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a 3+PQE admitted solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive within the wills & probate practice area. The successful candidate will join a highly established, successful and growing department.
The ideal candidate will be eager to contribute to the growth and expansion of this team and continue to develop as a technically skilled Lawyer. The ideal candidate will possess a good breadth of Private Client experience, ideally gained at a reputable law firm and will be able to demonstrate running an independent caseload and meeting or exceeding financial targets. The successful candidate will work well with others, with the ability to supervise and develop less experienced members of the team
This role will require the handling a broad range of Private Client matters, mainly consisting of:

  • Wills
  • Trust and estate planning
  • Probate and administration of estates
  • Powers of Attorney/Deputyships,
  • tax and trusts and
  • advising the elderly. You will also work closely with the firm’s Contentious Probate Department.

You will be commercially aware, have good client care skills, an eye for detail and will have a good understanding of estate accounts
