Role: Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner
Location: Chesterfield or Sheffield
Salary Range: £25,000 – £40,000
I am currently recruiting on behalf of an established law firm based in both Sheffield and Chesterfield that are looking to appoint a Conveyancing Fee Earner to join either office, ideally starting mid-late Feb. The firm would also consider applications from candidates with longer notice periods.
The firm are looking for a Conveyancer who is able to run a caseload of traditional conveyancing matters. The caseload is a mixed caseload of sales, purchases, freehold, leasehold, right to buy and remortages. The successful candidate is expected to run approximately 80-100 matters. This role is supported by 1 very experienced residential conveyancing assistant.
The following Skills will be demonstrated by the suitable Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner:
- Handling a caseload of conveyancing transactions from inception through to completion, which will vary depending upon experience but will include:
- Sales and purchases
- Freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered property
- Extensive client contact
- Strong technical ability and experience in conveyance
- Solid understanding of referrer relationships
- Ability to maintain strong referrer relationships without compromising independence and client care
