My client, a leading national firm, are looking to recruit an Employment Lawyer to join their team in London on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This firm are specialists in the field of claimant Employment law and have been recognised by many credible legal directories for the excellent legal advice that they provide to their clients.

The Role

In this role, you will advise client of the firm on a range of litigated and non-litigated Employment cases, including (but not limited to) unfair dismissals, wages and discrimination claims. You will advise clients on their prospects of success and the potential value of their claims.

The Person

Ideally you will have:

  • Approximately 2 years or more experience in this field of law as a fee-earner;
  • A solid understanding of Employment law and the procedures and regulations that are applicable;
  • Excellent knowledge of Employment Tribunal rules of procedure and the litigation process;
  • Excellent attention to detail in order for you to provide clear and effective arguments for your clients;
  • The ability to use most Microsoft office packages and ideally legal case management systems;
  • Excellent client care skills, being able to empathise with clients; and
  • The confidence to make daily decisions on your clients matters in order to progress their cases.
