Our client are a renowned, long-standing business who are experiencing a steady period of growth. Throughout their history, they have been known as a standout figure in Criminal Defence Law, across multiple geographical areas. Over the years, they diversified the firm into a multi-service law firm with reputable lawyers across the key practice areas of the business.

Due to a stable business model and a growing employment law department, our client are looking to hire an experienced Employment Paralegal to join them in the respondent team, providing contentious and non-contentious advice to their commercial clients. If successful, you will perform the following role as a Employment Paralegal:

* Assisting the senior employment law team, managing a broad client portfolio of retainer, regular, exciting and new clients
* Providing expert advice to individuals within businesses and senior figures on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters
* Engaging in key legal research
* Overseeing comprehensive administrative support in a busy employment law environment
* Dealing with preliminary hearings, pre-tribunal and tribunal paperwork for contentious matters
* Assisting council during tribunals
* Proactively engaging in ad-hoc tasks as and when required

* Due to the demanding nature of the role, you will need experience working in employment law, whether that be claimant or respondent
* Experience working as an employment paralegal is essential, whether that be in a fee earning or case support capacity
* Over 12 months experience in respondent employer law is desirable
