Legal Secretary
Location: Bakewell
Salary: £18,000 – £20.000
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

CRA Legal are representing a leading law firm across South Yorkshire. Our client is a reputable brand who offer a diverse range of business and personal legal services. Due to recent staffing changes, the need has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join an established Wills and Probate Team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Taking dictation from senior legal professionals
* Typing up legal documentation (copy & audio)
* Taking and checking statements
* Analysing medical records where required
* Managing incoming and outgoing communications / correspondence
* Liaising with clients via phone, email and letter
* Screening incoming calls into the department
* Maintaining an accurate filing system both online and paper based
* Diary management – setting appointments and coordinating appointments
* Supporting with general administration
* Preparing court bundles

Required Attributes:

* Experience working as a Legal Secretary
* Strong typing skills
* Knowledge of Big Hand
* Ability to use Microsoft Office Packages – Word, Excel & Outlook
