My client, a leading national litigation firm, are looking to recruit a Personal Injury Manager to join their team in Manchester. This firm are specialists in the field of claimant Personal Injury law and have been recognised by many credible legal directories for the excellent legal advice that they provide to their clients.

The Role

In this role, you will lead and manage lawyers within the firm and also represent the firm in front of both new and existing clients of the firm, liaising and meeting with these work providers in order to ensure that their needs are being met.

The Person

Ideally you will have:

  • Previous experience of a management role within a law firm, ideally within a Personal Injury setting;
  • A solid understanding of Personal Injury law and the procedures and regulations that are applicable;
  • Previous experience of managing teams of lawyers and analysing performance and setting KPIs/targets;
  • Previous business development experience, meeting with work providers and other stakeholders and being able to liaise with them and ensure that the firm are meeting their needs;
  • The ability to use most Microsoft office packages and ideally legal case management systems;
  • Excellent client care skills, being able to empathise with clients; and
  • Good people management skills, with the ability to motivate legal professionals to achieve goals and objectives.
