About the business:

My client is a highly successful fast growing business within easy reach of the M1 and Sheffield and Rotherham.
Due to growth, they are looking to recruit someone looking as a Supply Chain and Procurement Administrator to support the Supply Chain & BD teams amongst others in the support functions associated within the departments.

If successful, you will perform the following role as a Supply Chain & Procurement Administrator:
 

  • Be responsible for fielding incoming calls into the business, directing them as
  • appropriate, instructing the caller to email or taking messages and passing them on to
  • relevant colleagues.
  • Assist is obtaining pricing from suppliers as and when required for all commodities.
  • Convert requisitions to purchase orders and place orders with suppliers for both internal
  • and external products and services and amended when needed.
  • Cross reference suppliers order confirmations to P/Os to ensure the prices match to
  • reduce invoice queries and allow for a smooth payments process.
  • Ensure all purchases go through the correct approval process.
  • Ensure Statements of Works accompany orders where appropriate.
  • Create new suppliers and products on GT, upload specification sheets and amend pricing
  • when needed.
  • Update the better buying and supplier issues logs with appropriate information as and
  • when required.
  • Monitor the on-hire report and remove any pant when no longer required.
  • Check the fleet register removing any vehicles no longer required and adding to or
  • removing from insurance and the various tolls, crossing and parking accounts.
  • Collate relevant stats and assist in the production of the monthly dept report.
  • Create and update User Guides where needed looking for slick process resulting in the
  • best outcomes for the business.
  • Support the business with Customs documents and processes when needed.
  • Organise and attend meetings, circulate agendas, take minutes, circulate and
  • Support the departments in any other administration duties where needed.
  • Support the administration of the company fleet of vehicles

  • PC literate and familiar with all main Microsoft office products
  • Self-motivated and positive approach.
  • Look to build relationships and aim to be able to communicate at all levels.
  • Team player and able to work on own initiative.
  • Looking to become dynamic and creative.
