Role Summary:
Our client requires temporary cover for an Employment Lawyer during a period of paternity leave. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in handling a balanced mix of respondent and claimant work, offering a great opportunity to demonstrate expertise and impact within a renowned firm.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality legal advice in all areas of employment law, including employment contracts, workplace disputes, and discrimination cases.
  • Manage a caseload involving both respondent and claimant work, ensuring effective case resolution.
  • Draft, review, and ensure the accuracy of legal documents and correspondences.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in employment law and apply this knowledge to benefit clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through clear and effective communication.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A qualified solicitor or barrister with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in employment law.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle both respondent and claimant cases with a track record of successful outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex legal advice for clients.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
