Accounts Assistant Sheffield £20,000 to £25,000 plus benefits
My client is a rapidly expanding business based in North Sheffield with easy access to the M1 and free car parking. An experienced individual is required to join this well-established family business who have doubled in size during the last two years and operate across multiple sites locally.
Reporting Directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for administering the sales ledger and invoicing function. Currently 5,000 invoices are processed annually and there are over 2,000 live accounts. Key areas of responsibility include:
* Customer invoicing for all areas of the business
* Sales ledger control including setting up new customer accounts and credit checking as well as supporting the credit control function as and when required
* Allocating payments and maintaining the sales ledger
* Resolving customer queries
The Person
* Ideally you will have a proven track record of working in sales ledger or a similar role
* Experience within high value asset invoicing would be ideal but not essential
* You will be organised and methodical
* You will be able to multi task and work to tight deadlines
